ready, set, slam!

Here comes more shows! Jesus christ, more shows than I care to visit in one week. There's definitely a big enough selection to visit one if you find yourself without something to do.

First up's a show with Brain Damage at the Electric Pickle. No listed price or age range, but assume 21 and up. Punk in a neuvo-hipster electronica club? Ok!

Electric Pickle - Brain Damage
11pm, ?, ?

The next day is the highly anticipated Battalion of Saints making an appearance at Churchill's. There's been a small but loyal presence for the old-school hardcore punk bands that have come through in the past year or two, so here's hoping for some irregulars.

If for some reason you don't find Miami in your favor, there's a strange group called YACHT sharing the small Radio-Active stage with some locals. As always the Radio-Active shows are free and all-ages.

Friday, November 13th, 2009
Radio-Active Records - YACHT, The Shakers, Every Men
7:30pm, free, all ages

Churchill's Pub - Battalion of Saints, The Ruins, O.P.S., To Be Hated, The Angst
8pm, $10, 18 and up

The next day are 3 shows, so take your pick. The first is a free thanksgiving food drive, so come and donate some canned goods if you can. The second is a show (probably free?) at O'Malley's combining a few different groups of local punk bands. The last is a bunch of local and far-away Florida bands of all kinds at Churchill's.

Saturday, November 14th, 2009
